Achievements in 2024-2025
- K. Veeranjaneyulu completed a FDP on “Deep Learning for Engineering Applications” from September 2, 2024, to September 6, 2024.
- K. Veeranjaneyulu completed an NPTEL course in Power Plant Engineering from June to September 2024, over a duration of 8 weeks.
Achievements in 2021-2022
- Dr. R. Ganapati & K. Bullibabu published a patent titled “Effective Solar-Thermal Plant with Circulating Solar Radiation.”
- Mr. K. Bullibabu published a patent titled “Development Methods of Construction Materials to Improve the Thermal Resistance and Compressive Strength within Permissible Cost with Admixture of Industrial Residues.”
- Department faculty upgraded their knowledge through online course platforms like Coursera, NPTEL, Swayam, FDPs, and Workshops.
Student Achievements
- V. Vigneswara Chary participated in Eleation’s HyperWorks Basic to Professional Training Program, an online professional training program conducted on May 22, 2022.
- V. Vigneswara Chary participated in Eleation’s ANSYS Basic to Professional Training Program, an online professional training program conducted on May 13, 2022.
- Mechanical students attended the Society of Mechanical and Automotive Engineers’ “Students Kart Design Challenge-2k17” from January 2nd to 5th, 2018, at Hasten Go-Karting, Gurramguda, Hyderabad.
- Mr. T. Saikumar and J. Naresh from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Anurag Engineering College participated in the MAHAVEER Group of Institutions State-Level Sports Meet on 23rd & 24th February 2018, and the Anurag Group of Institutions State-Level Inter-College Tournament on 5th & 6th January 2018. They were runners-up in the Kabaddi event of this tournament.
- An Industrial visit was arranged to Kothagudem Thermal Power Station (KTPS) on 24/02/2018 for III Year II Semester Mechanical Engineering students from Anurag Engineering College, Kodad. The visit covered sections like coal handling equipment, boilers, turbines, cooling towers, and feed water treatment plants to provide practical knowledge.
- The Department of Mechanical Engineering arranged an industrial visit on 16/09/2019 for III & IV Year I Sem B.Tech ME students from Anurag Engineering College, Kodad, to Nuclear Fuel Complex Hyderabad, to acquire practical knowledge.
