- Mechanical students are gone to the society of mechanical and automotive engineers “Students Kart Design Challenge-2k17” From January 2nd to 5th, 2018. At Hasten Go-Karting, Gurramguda, Hyderabad.
- Mr. T.Saikumar and J.Naresh from the Department of mechanical engineering , Anurag Engineering college at MAHAVEER GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS state level sports meet-23rd & 24th FEB 2018 and ANURAG GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS state level Inter- College tournament 5th&6th January 2018 in which all universities had participated. They were the runners up in the KABADDI event of this tournament.
- An Industrial visit to Kothagudem Thermal Power Station (KTPS).The department of Mechanical Engineering, arranged industrial visits on 24/02/2018, for III year II Semester students of Mechanical Engineering from Anurag Engineering College, kodad to Kothagudem Thermal Power Station (KTPS). Where they visited different sections to acquire practical knowledge mainly in Coal handling equipment, Boilers, Turbines, Cooling towers and Feed water treatment plants.
