In line with the celebrations of the Telangana state festival “BATHUKAMMA”, Anurag NSS Unit has organised the celebrations in which all the departments of the institute have participated.

The girls students and female staff had turned up in the customary cultural attire which has effervesced the aesthetics of the ambience, contrasting from the routine.

Boys students had assisted the girls and female staff who were indulged in the preparation of bathukamma’s for the occasion and the outcome was numerous charismatic bathukamma’s with various coloured flowers adding divineness to the festival. After the arrangement of bathukamma’s in the pre-planned designated place, trained NSS girls volunteers guided the girls students and female staff in the celebrations along with songs which reverberated throughout the area on whole. After the celebrations the bathukamma’s with utmost reverence were carried to the nearby canal and were released into water while chanting the songs altogether which has concluded the program.
