On 27th November 2024, the Tech Master Trials event was conducted for 23 Civil Engineering (CE) students, providing a simulated interview experience to prepare them for real-world job opportunities in the field.
About the Tech Master Trials
This innovative initiative aimed to assess and enhance students’ technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to apply civil engineering principles in practical scenarios.
Objectives of the Contest:
- Practice Interview Skills: Gain hands-on experience in handling technical interviews.
- Build Confidence: Overcome interview anxieties through simulated trials.
- Identify and Improve Weak Areas: Recognize areas requiring improvement and address them effectively.
- Test Knowledge Application: Solve real-world engineering problems and design challenges.
Contest Structure:
The trials were organized into two competitive rounds:
- Round 1: Online Qualifiers – A preliminary round assessing core civil engineering concepts.
- Round 2: Final Round – A face-to-face trial interview with scenario-based questions.
Trial Interviewer: B. Suresh
Coordinator: D.V.N.V. Laxmi Alekhya
The final performance of participants was evaluated based on parameters like fastest solution time, highest score, and the ability to articulate problem-solving approaches effectively.
This event offered students a valuable opportunity to enhance their technical expertise, refine their interview skills, and prepare for successful careers in civil engineering.
Congratulations to all the participants for their commendable efforts!
