On 7th February 2025, Anurag Engineering College hosted a successful blood donation camp aimed at supporting Thalassemia patients. The event was organized by the college’s health and wellness team, in collaboration with local medical professionals and Thalassemia foundations, to address the critical need for blood transfusions for individuals suffering from this genetic disorder.
Students, staff, and local community members actively participated, donating blood and showing immense enthusiasm for the cause. The camp featured activities such as registration, health screenings, and an informative session about Thalassemia to raise awareness about the disorder and its impact. Donors were closely monitored by medical staff, ensuring their safety throughout the process. Post-donation, donors were given refreshments and provided with care to help them recover.
The blood collected will be distributed to Thalassemia patients in need of regular transfusions, offering them a chance to lead healthier lives.
