In the current centaury the consumption and discarding of plastic became part and parcel of our life, in fact now we cannot live without the use of plastic. But it is leading to accumulation of crores of tons of  plastic through out the world resulting in all sorts of  environmental pollution,loss of terrestrial, marine biodiversity and even degradation of our own health system . As part of reducing this serious societal problem Anurag NSS unit in collaboration with Regional of reducing this serious societal problem Anurag NSS unit in collaboration with Regional Outreach Bureau, Ministry of  Information and Broadcasting organized  an awareness program in which the resource person made a lucid presentation on the impacts of plastic waste which is essential for the young generation.
