It is a common phenomenon that viruses undergo mutations from time to time and also based on the prevailing environmental conditions as they are present on the earth since billions of years. At present different varieties of  novel viruses are cropping up on the earth of which many are non pathogenic while few are highly and fatally infectious, Novel corona virus comes under the latter said aspect where it can spread through small droplets from coughing, sneezing, and talking. Hence with in a less span of time it turned to be pandemic through out the world. Awareness and strict adherence to the protocols are the sources of avoiding this menace. In order to inculcate awareness among students an awareness program was organized by the NSS volunteers where they dissipated their knowledge with their colleagues.
