Anurag Engineering College organized an industrial visit from April 11th to 12th, 2025 for IV B.Tech I Semester students of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, aiming to bridge academic learning with real-world industrial practices. The students visited Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ) in Visakhapatnam, where they explored advanced medical device manufacturing processes, gained real-world exposure to apply electrical and electronics engineering in the healthcare sector. Additionally, they toured Jindal Urban Waste Management (Visakhapatnam) Limited, a facility that converts municipal solid waste into energy, providing students with practical exposure to sustainable power generation and waste management systems.
1. Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ)
Overview:
AMTZ is one of Asia’s largest medical device manufacturing parks, located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. It serves as a one-stop solution for medical technology innovation, research, development, and production.
