Event Overview
The Department of CSE (AI&ML), in association with Supraja Technologies, hosted a dynamic One-Day Hackathon Challenge on 17th April 2025 with the theme “Innovate, Code, Create.” The event aimed to fuel creativity, technical prowess, and collaborative innovation among second-year engineering students through a fast-paced and competitive hackathon environment.
Objectives
- To foster innovation and critical thinking among students.
- To offer a hands-on platform for developing real-time tech solutions.
- To promote teamwork and rapid prototyping using modern technologies.
Activities Conducted
- Inaugural Session & Orientation: Briefing on rules, themes, and judging metrics.
- Team Formation & Idea Pitching: Teams pitched initial ideas across domains like AI, web/app development, and cybersecurity.
- Hackathon Coding Session: Intense development period to build tech prototypes.
- Mentorship Support: Experts from Supraja Technologies provided real-time technical guidance.
- Tech Quiz & Rapid-Fire Rounds: Fun, fast-paced competitions to test tech knowledge.
- Prototype Presentation: Teams showcased functional demos to judges.
- Evaluation & Judging: Assessment based on innovation, feasibility, collaboration, and presentation.
- Valedictory Session: Winners were awarded and participants received certificates.
Highlights & Achievements
- A total of 120 students participated with great enthusiasm.
- 44 students were selected for a free internship with Supraja Technologies based on their performance, creativity, and team spirit.
- Students demonstrated strong problem-solving abilities and effective use of engineering tools and technologies.
