Summary of the Event:
The Department of CSE (AI & ML), in collaboration with the Department of R&D, Anurag Engineering College, organized an online Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) Awareness Programme on April 25, 2025, at 12:30 PM. The event was conducted under the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) initiative with the goal of fostering awareness and understanding of intellectual property rights among the academic community.

The webinar featured Mr. Arnab Bhattacharyya, Examiner of Patents & Designs, DPIIT, Government of India, as the keynote speaker. His expert talk covered the significance of IPRs in both academic and industrial contexts, and the need to protect creative and innovative works. The presentation offered a detailed overview of different types of intellectual property, including patents, copyrights, trademarks, and industrial designs, with emphasis on their importance in research and innovation.
