The Department of MBA, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and TGIC Anurag Engineering College, successfully organized an insightful workshop titled “Raising Capital and Managing Finance for Startups” on 21st April 2025. This initiative was aimed at empowering MBA and Engineering students with critical financial knowledge essential for entrepreneurial success.

Objective of the Workshop

The workshop aimed to provide aspiring entrepreneurs and early-stage startup founders with a strong foundation in:

• Identifying viable funding sources
• Understanding investment strategies
• Practicing effective financial management techniques

These essential skills are crucial for ensuring the sustainability and growth of any new venture.

Workshop Structure

The event was divided into two informative sessions:

• Session 1: Raising Capital for Startups
  Speaker: Dr. Ch. Venkata Krishna Reddy, Associate Professor, Department of MBA
• Session 2: Managing Finance for Startups
  Facilitator: Dr. S. Nagaraju, Professor and Head, Department of MBA

Key Outcomes

• Over 80% of participants created or significantly enhanced their investor pitch decks.
• Students reported a 60–70% improvement in their financial literacy regarding startup funding and management.
• More than 90% of attendees found the workshop highly relevant, practical, and actionable.

This workshop reflected Anurag Engineering College’s ongoing commitment to fostering innovation, entrepreneurial spirit, and industry-relevant skills among its students.
