The “Young Manager Contest” is a competitive event typically aimed at MBA students or young professionals who are early in their careers. The contest is designed to identify and reward emerging management talent by challenging participants to demonstrate their skills in leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.

Objectives of the Contest:

• To identify and reward the top young management talent among MBA students.
• To provide students with a platform to showcase their skills in problem-solving, leadership, and strategic thinking.

On August 30, 2024, the Young Manager Contest was organized for 33 MBA students of Anurag Engineering College at the Block A seminar hall. The contest structure was as follows:

Contest Structure:

• Round 1: Written Test
• Round 2: Group Discussion
• Round 3: JAM (Just A Minute)
• Round 4: Stress Interview

After the third round, three students—N. Anusha, S.D. Baji Baba, and K. Lasya—qualified for the final Stress Interview round. In this session, the judges decided that Mr. S.D. Baji Baba, a second-year MBA student, is the Young Manager and awarded him the prize.
